Crafts & More The many and varied art and crafts provide an opportunity to purchase the highest quality original work directly from the designer/makers themselves, while still enjoying the quiet rural atmosphere where the family can feed the ducks and chickens or relax in the patio garden at the far end of the Craft Centre. The studios and workshops are housed in the outbuildings of a 17th century Somerset 'long farm” which was once part of the Clevedon Court Estate. About the Clevedon Craft Centre Clevedon Craft Centre was founded in 1971 by Jeffrey Bright and David Stear when, on leaving college, they started their business 'Stear and Bright silversmiths' in what had been the cowshed of New house farm. Over the years more craft businesses opened in other disused farm buildings and Clevedon Craft Centre developed. There are currently a diverse range of artists and crafts people happy to engage with you and who will also be able to take commissions for truly individual products.
